Certified Trust Practitioner™ Accreditation Programme - Trust Training Certificate (TTC) (version 2.0)

TTC is a core component of achieving the Hong Kong Trustees' Association ("HKTA") Certified Trust Practitioner™ (CTP) designation, which was introduced in 2018.

In 2024, the programme has underwent a successful syllabus update and is now known as TTC (version 2.0). 

The training programme is structured in 2 parts (Part A and Part B).  It consists of 14 units and 42 training hours.  Participants must complete the entire programme, including all mandatory units from Part A and either Stream 1 or Stream 2 of Part B, to fulfil the requirements for the CTP designation. 

Starting in 2025, Part A and Part B will be delivered in an eCourse format. There are two cohorts in 2025: March and August. See below for details of the 1st cohort (March), and refer to the attached leaflet for information on the 2nd cohort (August).

Participants who successfully complete the programme and pass the examination for both parts will be awarded the "Trust Training Certificate".

Examination*

The examination will be held three months after the enrolment start date.

*Note: Please note that all computer-based exam candidates MUST schedule their exam. TTC exam candidates should refer to Step 2 of the Scheduling Guide for procedures.

To be eligible for the TTC (version 2.0) Examination, either Part A or Part B, participants must enrol in and complete all seven (7) units at least seven (7) days before the exam date. Candidates need to attend the Examination in person at the HKSI Institute.

Individuals who completed TTC (version 2.0) Part A or Part B training in 2024 but did not pass the examination are eligible to directly enrol for a retake. For examination details, please click here. To enrol, please click here

Below is an overview of the Trust Training Certificate ("TTC") (version 2.0) Part A. 

  • The total training and exam package cost for the all inclusive units, which covers all seven (7) units and the Part A Examination is HKD15,000. This price includes the examination fee of HKD2,200 and reflects a discount from the original price of HKD14,500.
  • If participants wish to apply for Experienced Practitioner Exemption ("EPE"), please contact HKTA to confirm their eligibility before enrolling in Unit 6.
  • Enjoy discounts on the package price for corporate group enrolments completing the training package (with/without examination):
    • 3-5 staff: 5% off
    • More than 5 staff: 10% off
  • Offline group enrolment can be arranged by contacting the HKSI Institute at 3120 6100 or email to [email protected]. An administration fee of HKD100 per enrolment will be charged, and applications will be processed within four working days.

  • Learners may choose to enrol in individual units, however, only the full training and examination programme is eligible for WAM FIS reimbursement.
