Mr Kevin Liem Treasurer of the Council and Court Hong Kong Baptist University

Mr Kevin Liem is the Treasurer of the Council and Court of the Hong Kong Baptist University, and serves as the Chairman of its Finance Committee, Investment Committee and Superannuation Fund. He also holds the position as a Managing Director of a Hong Kong-based family office. Prior to that, he was the Chief Investment Officer for the Asian region at Swiss private banking group Compagnie Bancaire Helvétique SA, following his tenures with Aetos Capital’s Asia Pacific Speculative Investment Fund and UBS Investment Bank’s Investment Banking Department respectively.

He has been a Director on the Board of the HKSI Institute since 2021 and has served on numerous committees since 2013, including the Education and Development, Examinations, Membership, Outreach, and Remuneration Committees, as well as the Young Professionals Club (YPC) Council.

Mr Liem is a Senior Fellow of the HKSI Institute, a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) charter holder and a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated with a Master of Taxation degree from the University of Waterloo and a Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) degree from the University of Toronto.

In addition, Mr Liem is a regular guest host and columnist for a number of financial media channels, and serves on the board or advisory committees for various organisations.
