Change in Board of Directors

Hong Kong, 30 September: The Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) today announced that Mr Eric Ho, Director of Licensing, Intermediaries of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) has been appointed by the SFC to the Board of Directors of the HKSI Institute effective 1 October 2021. Mr Ho is an auditor by training and has been serving the SFC since 1999.

Board Director Ms Clara Chiu, Director of Licensing and Head of Fintech, Intermediaries of the SFC shall vacate her position with immediate effect, following her resignation from the SFC.

“We look forward to working with Mr Ho to further the cause of the Institute, and we thank Ms Chiu for her invaluable contributions over the past five years”, said Ms Katherine Ng, Chairman of the HKSI Institute.

The HKSI Institute Board of Directors comprises members from different business sectors across the financial services-related industry, including from the academia, corporate finance, fund management, futures, investment analysis, and securities sectors. The SFC may appoint not more than three Directors to the Board.
