Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products
Commodities - Part 11
Overview
This course consists of two modules on types of commodities. Module 1 examines the process of converting natural gas to LNG, how the industry is evolving, and the challenges and opportunities that face it in the future.
Module 2 covers Petrochemicals – sometimes abbreviated as “petchems” – are a set of chemical compounds that fuel a wide array of products that are integral to modern economies and societies. This module describes the major groups of petrochemicals, including the chemistry behind the groups, how they are made and used, and how they have become a tradable commodity class in their own right.
