Overview

Mr Ashley Alder, Chief Executive Officer of Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), who has been a tremendous supporter of the HKSI Institute since he took the helm at SFC in 2011, will be leaving the SFC to take up a new appointment in the United Kingdom as Chair of the Financial Conduct Authority in January 2023.

At this luncheon hosted by Mr Colin Shaftesley, Chairman of the HKSI Institute in the honour of Mr Ashley Alder, we will be awarding the HKSI Institute Honorary Fellowship to Mr Alder, in recognition of his visionary leadership and remarkable reforms to uphold the quality and integrity of Hong Kong’s financial markets, as well as his distinguished contributions and support to the Institute.

Important Notes:

• All guests must use the “LeaveHomeSafe” mobile application and fulfil the Government’s Vaccine Pass requirements.
• All guests must present photo of a negative rapid antigen test (RAT) result obtained within 24 hours before entering the Function Rooms. Their name, day and time of taking the RAT shall be indicated on the RAT testing kit.
