It’s time to embrace adventure and exploration this summer! We are delighted to invite you to an exclusive guided tour of O · PARK1 - the first organic resources recovery centre in Hong Kong.

This is more than just a tour. It is an opportunity to discover how food waste is converted into biogas, a renewable energy source that powers our future. You will witness the principles of sustainability and environmental responsibility, which are essential in today’s financial landscape.

This  complimentary tour, organised by our Young Professionals Club (YPC) Councillors, is open to Members and Student Members aged 40 and below. You are welcome to bring a friend and connect with like-minded peers!

 

Event Details:

Date: Saturday, 23 August 2025

Time: 1:30pm - 3:30pm

Transportation: All participants are required to take the shuttle bus from the waiting area at MTR Sunny Bay Station. 

Language: Cantonese

Venue: O · PARK1, 5 Sham Fung Road, Siu Ho Wan, North Lantau

Tour Itinerary: Explore five areas at the O · PARK1, including both indoor and outdoor facilities

Quota: 28 participants 
Remarks: Participants are welcome to bring your own container for taking O · Compost [around 200g/person]

Important Notes:

• An administrative fee may be charged for no-shows after enrolment.
• The event will be canceled if fewer than 15 participants enrol by 11 August 2025.
• The event will be canceled if a typhoon signal No. 3 or above, a red or black rainstorm warning, or an extreme weather notice is in force or anticipated to be in force at 9:00am on the day of the event, according to the Hong Kong Observatory.
• The HKSI Institute reserves the right to change the date, venue, format, or cancel the event due to unforeseen circumstances.
