概要
This is Module 3 of the Sustainability Excellence for Talent Certification Programme (SET), which aims to provide learners with comprehensive knowledge on topics such as sustainability reporting frameworks, ESG ratings, climate risks, and net zero.
Climate risks are becoming increasingly imminent to businesses with the associated negative business and financial implications. Incorporating climate risks into existing risk management processes will be key to ensuring companies properly consider climate risks when making business decisions. This seminar provides an overview of the approach to identify, assess, prioritise and manage climate risks, and key consideration factors in integrating climate risks into your overall risk management.

Lit Ping has advised multiple businesses in their journey to integrating climate risks within their businesses’ strategy, risk, investment and operations, across sectors such as financial services, energy and infrastructure and retail and consumer goods.
Lit Ping also collaborated with international organisations including WBCSD, WEF and CDP to raise awareness and advance the climate agenda. She was formerly a Senior Specialist at the World Bank’s Finance, Competitiveness and Innovation Practice, supporting governments in managing the financial risks of climate and disaster events.
Debbie has supported various clients in preparing their ESG Reports, spanning across banking, real estate and consumer goods industries. As a technical consultant in supporting the HKEX in developing the Implementation Guidance for the New Climate Requirements, she has extensive knowledge of the latest regulatory requirements as well as global reporting standards including the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards.
