[Webinar] Navigating Chinese Data Privacy Regulations for Outbound Data Transfer

概要

Businesses operating in China, including those in Hong Kong and other regions, must comply with relevant Chinese laws and regulations when sharing customers and employees data between their Chinese affiliates and foreign headquarters. To do so, they may seek approval from the Chinese government or use the Chinese Standard Contractual Clauses. The recent $1.2 billion data privacy fine levied against a ride-hailing company highlights the importance of compliance and serves as a reminder that Chinese regulators are vigilant in enforcing data privacy regulations.
