Stock Connect is a unique mutual market access between the Mainland and Hong Kong. It allows international and Chinese investors to trade securities in each other’s markets through the trading and clearing facilities of their home exchange.

Farica Lam is Vice President of Market Solutions Team of Trading Department of HKEX, focusing on designing pragmatic solutions for HKEX’s strategic initiatives, including but not limited to the inclusion of ETFs in Stock Connect and Master SPSA services. Prior to her role in Trading, Farica has been part of the HKEX Project Portfolio Management Team and Platform Development Team. Farica received a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and Master of Philosophy degree from the University of Hong Kong, and International MBA degree from the University of Iowa.
