概要
This eCourse consists of two modules. Module 1 provides a high-level overview of the European Union’s Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD), which is intended to promote competition, consumer protection, and a level playing field in insurance distribution. This module also describes IDD’s key provisions and their implications.
Module 2 looks at the key requirements of the Solvency II regime, which is a new, harmonized EU-wide insurance regulatory regime. This module also explains the different rules under its three pillars.

- Define the scope and objectives of the Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD)
- List the key provisions of the IDD, including registration, professional and organizational requirements, the introduction of the Insurance Product Information Document (IPID), and the rules for insurance-based investment products (IBIPs)

- Define the quantitative requirements of Pillar I
