With the imposition of U.S. Sanctions on our top Government officials, this topic is the talk of the town. This webinar provides a brief overview of the U.S. Sanctions regime, with a particular focus on the Hong Kong Autonomy Act (HKAA) and accompanying Executive Order. It also discusses the circulars issued by various regulators and the potential consequences of infringements.

導師/講者

Ben KOSTRZEWA
Ben is a Counsel in Hogan Lovells Hong Kong and Washington, D.C. offices. He is an expert in the greater China market, U.S. export controls, Section 301, U.S.-China trade disputes and U.S. sanctions policies. Before joining Hogan Lovells, Ben served as assistant general counsel at the Office of the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) from 2011 to 2015, where he handled U.S.-China disputes and negotiations, World Trade Organization (WTO) disputes, and free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations. In addition to getting a JD from the law school at the University of Washington, Ben studied Chinese and Chinese law at Peking University.
