ASIF Forum Session 2: Digital Currency in Cambodia and Japan - Collaboration and Innovation with Private Digital Currency

This webinar is being held in partnership with the ASIF, as part of the ASIF Forum series on Digital Currencies - Innovation and Impact on Society.

The Securities Analysts Association of Japan (SAAJ) will host the second webinar in the series. Cambodia launched a central bank digital currency (CBDC) “Bakong” in 2020 using the blockchain technology provided by the Japanese Fintech company Soramitsu Co., Ltd. Mr. Kazumasa Miyazawa, CEO of Soramitsu, will talk about the experience of Cambodia’s CBDC and the situation in Japan.
