Since its reception in 2007, the Asian Financial Forum (AFF) has gone from strength to strength. The 2024 edition featured 140 distinguished speakers and attracted over 3,600 participants from more than 50 countries and regions, including more than 70 high-level incoming business delegations from across the globe. Networking and deal-making remained a key focus at the AFF. The popular AFF Deal-making facilitated over 700 one-on-one business matching sessions.
As the global economy continues to evolve, Asia and emerging markets are poised to play a more pivotal role in shaping the next phase of growth and development. The upcoming AFF will be joined by the world’s influential policymakers, regulators and business leaders to discuss the emerging drivers and innovative strategies that are set to become the next growth engines for the world.
AFF 2025 will delve into a broad array of trending topics covering capital markets, Web3 & virtual assets, climate actions, sustainable investing, family offices, sovereign wealth funds and more. The Forum will continue to feature the signature panel discussions at the Main Plenary Session, Policy Dialogue, Global Economic Outlook, China Opportunities, Asset & Wealth Management and Insurance & Risk Management. The well-applauded CIO Insights will return and drill into the mind of Chief Investment Officers from hedge funds, asset managers and mutual funds on their investment approaches and strategies in 2025. Other returning series including Global Spectrum and Dialogues for Tomorrow will discuss collective actions and collaborations, and together envision a better world with the help of technologies.
Alongside the conference programme, the AFF Deal-making will continue facilitating project owners and investors around the world to explore investment opportunities via one-on-one meetings. The exhibition, consisting of the Global Investment Zone, Fintech Showcase and InnoVenture Salon, will gather prominent worldwide financial institutions, tech companies and start-ups to present technologies and innovative business ideas across various sectors, helping businesses from different parts of the world explore new opportunities.
