The HKSI Institute congratulates the appointment of its Senior Fellow, Ms Alice Law Shing Mui, as Managing Director of the Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA) from 1 July 2018.
 
Ms Law has been the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of the MPFA since 2012. She is currently a member of the Global Future Councils on the Future of Financial and Monetary Systems of World Economic Forum, Products Advisory Committee of the Securities and Futures Commission, and Advisory Committee on Bachelor of Business Administration Programme in Insurance, Financial and Actuarial Analysis of the Chinese University of Hong Kong. From 2004 to 2012, she held Director to Senior Director positions at Securities and Futures Commission, with her last position as Senior Director (Policy, China & Investment Products).
 
Ms Law joined the HKSI Institute in 1999 and was inducted as a Senior Fellow in 2015. Her notable contribution to the Institute included the leadership role as a Board Director from 2004 to 2008, a member of the Executive Committee during the same period, and a reviewer for the renewal of Licensing Examinations Question Bank from 2007 to 2008. She had also served on various committees, including the Audit Committee, Examinations Committee, Professional Events Committee and Editorial Committee.
