FAQ: What are the key points to keep in mind on the examination date?

On the day of the examination, you must present your original, valid photo identification document or formal travel document with a photo, with an English name that matches the name recorded in the HKSI Institute records (Online Portal). Additionally, you must arrive at the examination centre at the scheduled examination start time.

You will not be allowed to take the examination if either

1) the English name on the identification document does not match the name in the HKSI Institute records, or

2) you arrive at the examination centre 30 minutes after the examination start time.
