Pilot Programme to enhance talent training for the asset and wealth management sector (“WAM Pilot Programme”)
Overview
The Pilot Programme to enhance talent training for the asset and wealth management sector (the WAM Pilot Programme) is funded by the HKSAR Government as part of its effort to facilitate the long-term sustainable development of the sector. The Pilot Programme was launched in August 2016 and has been extended until 31 March 2026.
We have been appointed by the Financial Services & the Treasury Bureau (“FSTB”) as the implementation agent of the Pilot Programme.
Key Objectives
Key objectives of the Pilot Programme are to attract new blood joining as workforce and to enhance the professional competency of the practitioners which is conducive to the growth of the asset and wealth management sector.
Key Initiatives
The WAM Pilot Programme has three initiatives
