Overview

Alternative investments including private equity, private credit, real estate, hedge funds and other non-traditional investments have seen tremendous growth in their share within the asset allocation of institutional and increasingly individual investors, driven by the search for diversification and higher returns amidst volatile public markets. Assets under management (AUM) of alternatives is expected to double to more than US$20 trillion by 2030.

This seminar provides insights on the growing sectors of private markets, the role of alternative investments in portfolios and how investors can incorporate them to complement their traditional portfolios especially during times of uncertainty.

Gregory VAN
Mr Gregory Van is Chief Executive Officer of Endowus and Greg is responsible for driving the company’s growth and strategic execution. He began his career in investment banking at UBS, advising and fundraising for private equity and venture capital firms in the Asia Pacific region. Greg then joined Grab in its early days and was part of the pioneer team that launched the firm’s digital payments services across Southeast Asia.

Today, Greg leverages his unique expertise at the intersection of finance and technology to empower all investors with greater access to expert advice and institutional-quality products at low, fair fees – leveraging technology to do this at scale.

Greg believes that the biggest asset an investor has is time, and is singularly focused on helping clients efficiently maximise their time to achieve financial wellness.
