Complying with the Hong Kong Takeovers Code (2025)
Overview
To enhance the competencies of individuals advising on matters related to the Codes on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs (the Codes), the SFC licensing requirement introduced on 1 January 2022 remains a critical benchmark for professionals in this field.
The course provides a comprehensive overview of the key requirements of the Takeovers Codes, focusing on the roles and responsibilities of financial advisers, offerors, and offerees to ensure compliance during any takeover offer. Designed as a foundational resource for individuals involved in takeover assignments, this eCourse also serves as a valuable refresher for TC Advisers. Additionally, it supports LE Paper 17 examination candidates by offering insights and guidance to deepen their understanding of the updated study manual.
