The training will cover:

• an introduction to OTC equity derivatives, with discussion on product types and use case;
• an overview of the ISDA documentation architecture: ISDA Master Agreement, Schedules and Confirmations;
• a guide to ISDA 2002 Equity Derivatives Definitions (“EQD Definitions”), with focus on valuation, market disruption events, adjustments, extraordinary events and additional disruption events, and how they mitigate corresponding risks;
• discussion on emerging market trends regarding OTC equity derivatives documentation since the publication of the widely adopted EQD Definitions.

Jimmy KWONG
Jimmy Kwong is the Director and Assistant General Counsel of Bank of America (“BofA”). Jimmy is the legal advisor for the firm’s derivatives and structured notes business in APAC. He is a member of various industry working groups relating to derivatives, such as ISDA working groups since year 2010. Prior to joining BofA, he worked at several investment banks and law firms. Jimmy is admitted to practice as a solicitor in Hong Kong, and holds a Master of Law from the University of Cambridge.
