Overview
With the launch of VA ETFs in the US and Hong Kong, along with Trump's pro-crypto stance, it is crucial for finance professionals to seriously explore VA as an alternative asset class and develop a fundamental understanding of VA portfolio management.

This course is primarily targeted at finance professionals of any level who are keen to build an entry level understanding of Web3 & VA and how to perceive VA investments.
Licensed individuals or compliance professionals who are keen to understand what is expected for a VA license uplift.
Financial Incentive Scheme of the WAM Pilot Programme
This course has already been approved as an eligible course of the Financial Incentive Scheme for Professional Training (“the Scheme”) under the Pilot Programme to Enhance Talent Training for the Asset and Wealth Management Sector (“the Pilot Programme”). The Scheme aims to enhance the competency and professionalism of in-service practitioners within the asset and wealth management sector and to assist other practitioners within the financial services industry in acquiring the knowledge and skills required for entering the sector. Eligible applicants will be subsidised 80% of the course fees by the HKSAR Government upon satisfactory completion of the courses approved by Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, subject to a ceiling of HK$15,000. Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute is appointed as the implementation agent of the Pilot Programme. Speaker/Course Instructor
Prior to joining Huobi, Gillian’s background is in traditional finance, she was the CIO for Anbang Asset Management in Hong Kong in charge of equities and alternative investments. She started her investment career in Amsterdam with Dutch asset manager Delta Lloyd since 2007 with experience in covering GEM, global equities market and alternative assets.
Qingwen was an early adopter of DeFi and acting as advisor for a number of web3 start upstart-up companies, she is also Vice Chair of the Web3 & Fintech committee at CFA Hong Kong, tasked to educate and bring more awareness for VA, she has organised and delivered a number of VA industry trainings to the CFA membership society.
