Overview

This course provides an overview of Sustainability Reporting using the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) standards and highlights their crucial role in advancing the sustainability agenda. The course is structured into three detailed lessons. Each lesson focuses on different aspects of sustainability reporting, starting from basic concepts and frameworks to an in-depth exploration of the GRI standards and their application in real-world scenarios.  

Objective

By the end of this eCourse, participants will be able to:
- understand the importance of the Global Reporting Initiative standards in promoting corporate responsibility and accountability regarding sustainability
- learn about the various regulatory requirements and international best practices
- possess knowledge at the expected proficiency level and create a GRI Index
- analyse and apply GRI standards to real-world scenarios, as demonstrated in case studies from the World Bank and Hang Seng Bank
