Financial Incentive Scheme of the WAM Pilot Programme

This course has already been approved as an eligible course of the Financial Incentive Scheme for Professional Training (“the Scheme”) under the Pilot Programme to Enhance Talent Training for the Asset and Wealth Management Sector (“the Pilot Programme”). The Scheme aims to enhance the competency and professionalism of in-service practitioners within the asset and wealth management sector and to assist other practitioners within the financial services industry in acquiring the knowledge and skills required for entering the sector. Eligible applicants will be subsidised 80% of the course fees by the HKSAR Government upon satisfactory completion of the courses approved by Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute, subject to a ceiling of HK$15,000. Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute is appointed as the implementation agent of the Pilot Programme. Benson CHENG
Benson is a Partner of PwC Hong Kong who serves and specialises in financial services. He had rich working experience through his secondments to various cities including Beijing, Tokyo and Jakarta. He has great experience serving a number of Chinese financial institutions and fintech companies in both Hong Kong and Shenzhen. He is also a Senior Advisor at Family Office HK and supporting Family Office HK in driving the family office initiative for Hong Kong.
Vanessa CHAN
Vanessa is a Financial Services Tax Partner at PwC Hong Kong. She has deep tax knowledge and extensive experience in the financial services industry, particularly the asset and wealth management sector, covering family offices, asset managers and asset owners. In addition, she has been heavily involved in various tax policy initiatives relating to asset management and fund industry, utilizing her extensive in-house practical experience and her deep technical knowledge in the financial service industry. Vanessa has been driving various tax policy changes in Hong Kong on the private fund and asset management sector.
