Overview

This eCourse consists of three modules which are eSeminars by Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) for Topic 10 of Paper 2 of the Certified Private Wealth Professional (CPWP) Module 1 Examination.

Module 1 focuses on the recent industry trends and characteristics of private wealth management (PWM) markets in Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific including mainland China. (Part 1: In Cantonese with English subtitle, Part 2: In English)

Module 2 examines the issues that private wealth managers should consider when conducting business in mainland China. (In Putonghua with English subtitle)

Module 3 explores PWM products and services available for mainland China PWM customers in both onshore and offshore markets. (In English)

*As these three eSeminars are the only source of materials for preparing CPWP Topic 10 examination, it is highly recommended that you enrol in this course if you intend to take the examination.

Objective

It is primarily targeted to CPWP candidates who wish to take the CPWP Module 1 Paper 2 Examination. It is also relevant to those PWM practitioners who would like to enhance their industry knowledge in wealth management.

Speaker/Course Instructor

Rocky CHEUNG
Rocky Cheung is the Head of Investment Counselling for the China and Taiwan Market at HSBC Private Banking. He has over 23 years of experience in financial industry. Prior to joining HSBC Private Banking, Rocky was with DBS Private Banking for 15 years. His last role in DBS is Head of Investment Advisory and Product of DBS Hong Kong.
Jeffrey PENG
Jeffery Peng is the Managing Director and the Head of Wealth Management China at Deutsche Bank. He is responsible for overseeing and strengthening the onshore platform, developing and executing long-term expansion strategies in the local market, as well as advising on Greater China business for the North Asia region. Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Jeffrey was at Bank of Singapore, where he was the Managing Director, Head of Strategic Alliances, as well as Head of the Independent Asset Management Excellence Centre for Greater China and North Asia. Jeffrey has over two decades of experience in the financial industry in Asia covering front, middle and back office responsibilities in various sectors, including private wealth management, corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions and investment management.
Angel WU
Angel Wu is the Head of Product Management Group of Bank of Singapore (Hong Kong) covering Research, Investment Advisory & Trading, Wealth Planning as well as Lending & Credit Structuring services. Angel has over 25 years of experience in the financial industry in Asia. Prior to joining Bank of Singapore, she was the Regional Head of Products & Solutions at ABN AMRO Private Banking, Asia & Middle East. She is also the co-author of "Asian Structured Products (1 August 2017)" published by CFA Institute Research Foundation and "Structured Products: Evolution and Analysis" respectively.
