IPO Offering Structures and Application Procedures
Overview
It is a fundamental change for a private company going for listing. The puzzles to the listing applicants and the market practitioners include: What is the percentage of the shares to be issued to public investors? How and when these public shares are going to be issued? What are the public offer and placing? What are the rules for share relocation between the public offer and the placing? Can the controlling shareholders sell their shares upon IPO? What is the greenshoe option?
