Amendments and updates to the LE study guides are made periodically or as necessary to reflect changes in applicable laws, rules, regulations, codes and market practices in Hong Kong. Once an update is released, an announcement will be made on the HKSI Institute website. The latest version or edition of the relevant Study Guides will be available for enrolled candidates to download via the HKSI Institute Online Portal or HKSI Institute Mobile. A list of major updates made to the last version will be provided at the end of the Study Guides for candidates’ reference (not applicable to updates for changes in edition, e.g. from the first-edition to the second-edition).

Candidates should be aware that the latest regulatory and market information may not be immediately incorporated into the Study Guides due to the rapid changes in the securities and futures industry. Candidates are advised to stay informed about any updates or amendments to the relevant laws, regulations and requirements by referring to the legislation published by the relevant authorities.

For examination purposes, unless HKSI Institute provides updates or revisions to the relevant sections of the Study Guides or specifies otherwise, the examination questions will be based solely on content and materials contained within the latest version of the published Study Guides that are still current.

The eStudy guides are available for purchase online in the table below for the relevant version of the Study Guides. Major updates will also be included in the same way as the Study Guides.
