ESG Leading Enterprises 2026: Now Open for Entries

Hong Kong is committed to the adoption of the IFRS Sustainability Disclosure Standards (ISSB Standards) by 2028, and will implement mandatory climate disclosures for Large Cap Issuers starting in 2026. ESG transparency and standardisation have become an irreversible trend, shifting from voluntary disclosures to a core element of business strategy and resilience.

Bloomberg Businessweek/Chinese Edition is once again partnering with Deloitte to present the 8th ESG Leading Enterprises 2026. The event aims to recognise listed and non-listed Hong Kong enterprises with ESG performance, and honours Sustainability Elites, who are professionals and scholars with outstanding contributions in the field of ESG. It aims to encourage companies to implement ESG strategies grounded in good governance, build high-quality, transparent disclosure frameworks, and elevate reporting standards, strengthening Hong Kong’s competitiveness as a global financial hub.

The event is open to entries from all Hong Kong-based enterprises to participate and showcase their ESG achievements. The panel of judges will comprise industry leaders, scholars, and researchers to ensure a professional and fair assessment process that adheres to ESG-related international standards.
