HKSI Institute Announces Mr Kevin Liem’s Continuation as Board Chairperson and Board Director Appointments for the New Term

Hong Kong, 19 December 2025: The Board of Directors of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) has re-appointed Mr Kevin Liem as Chairperson for a new one-year term – a key mandate to spearhead the HKSI Institute's next phase of development. 

At the HKSI Institute’s 28th Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on 18 December 2025, members re-elected three directors to the Board for a three-year term: Mr Dickson Chan, Mr Ken Lo, and Mr Foster Yim.  All other resolutions as set out in the Notice of AGM were also duly passed.

The Institute also welcomes the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC)’s reappointment of Mr Eric Ho, Director, Intermediaries of the SFC; Mr Jeremy Lam, Consultant of Deacons; and Dr Gordon Tsui, Permanent Honorary President of Hong Kong Securities Association, to the Board.  Our Board comprises 15 directors – three appointed by the SFC and 12 elected by members – representing diverse sectors across the financial services related industry, including academia, corporate finance, fund management, futures, investment analysts, and securities.

Commenting on his re-appointment, Mr Kevin Liem said, “I am honoured to continue leading the HKSI Institute and look forward to working closely with our Board, Committees, and members.  Together, we will drive our mission forward by advancing professional excellence in critical and in-demand domains such as compliance, ethics, asset and wealth management, digital assets, and ESG; collaborating with regulators; and strengthening regional engagement, particularly with the Greater Bay Area, to fuel the growth of our industry."
