The Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) of the Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute (HKSI Institute) was successfully held on 25 April 2024, during which the special resolution to approve the adoption of the new Articles of Association (AA) was passed.

The new AA include

• Alignment with the latest Companies Ordinance to allow fully virtual general meetings and hybrid general meetings;
• Other consequential and housekeeping changes;
• Streamlining the number of proposers for nomination of candidates for Directors while upholding accountability and credibility in the election process; and
• Enabling the Board to appoint Directors with diverse experiences and expertise to expand and complement the capabilities and perspectives of the Board.  

These changes and amendments have been approved by the Companies Registry.  The updated Articles of Association are now in effect and are available on our website for your reference.
