Special Arrangement Due to Bad Weather or Typhoon

1. Classroom training will be changed to webinar format when typhoon signal No.8 or above or black rainstorm Warning or Pre-No.8 Special Announcement is anticipated or the HK Observatory Authority has issued bad weather or typhoon warning.  Notification by email and phone will be made at least TWO hours before the class starts. 
2. If typhoon signal No. 8 or above is in force or anticipated to be in force during the classroom training or when the webinar is delivered at the HKSI Institute premise, the training should be discontinued as quickly as possible.  Staff of the Institute will provide instruction and assistance.
3. For classroom training is held at a location other than the HKSI Institute Training Centre, a separate arrangement will apply based on the respective venue’s bad weather arrangement.  Staff of the Institute or venue coordinator will provide instruction and assistance.
4. Webinar training will continue as scheduled during bad weather and typhoons unless the training needs to be cancelled/ rescheduled due to unforeseeable situation.  Notification will be sent via email and phone before the training starts.
