Overview

This webinar provides a comprehensive exploration bridging the gap between United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (UNSDGs) and the dynamic sphere of fintech.

Participants will gain a clear understanding of the correlation between UNSDGs and the evolving landscape of fintech. The journey starts with a brief history of fintech, to achieve UNSDG 1 No Poverty and the recent developments. Several major markets in fintech will be highlighted, along with the emphasis of F in the model of fintech as articulated by an esteemed expert during an interview conducted by the Hong Kong Monetary Authority on fintech.

Queenie LEE
Ms Queenie Lee serves as the advisory council member of Harvard Business Review, and the global panel member of the MIT Technology Review.

Queenie was the Associate Director of the MSc in Finance (Financial Technology and Financial Analytics) and Centre for Corporate Governance and Financial Policy at Hong Kong Baptist University, and the fellow mentor for the Cyberport University Partnership Programme, internship coordinator for the Finance concentration and ISEM/ISBI concentration in the School of Business, and university liaison for the Investors and Financial Education Council (IFEC).

Queenie served as a project consultant for UNESCO HK, CUHK, HKUST and Organizing Committee member of the International Mathematical Olympiad 2016.
