Examination candidates could view their results immediately upon completion and download their examination results and performance analysis within two hours after the examination, as compared to the earlier duration of eight working days. While 2019/2020 was a challenging year, we managed to refocus our priorities. We strongly believed that a well-established governance with systematic risk management framework and effective internal control mechanism would enable us to deliver our quality service offerings and be sustainable. During the reporting period, we engaged external consultants to review and recommend on our information technology and human resources resulted in enhancing our capabilities in people, technology, communication and infrastructure. Standards and Development Maintaining the quality and integrity of our qualification and development p r o g r a mm e s a r e o f u t m o s t importance to us. In addition to the latest regulatory and industry update for the Licensing Examination for Securities and Futures Intermediaries (LE) study manuals and question banks, we have been working hard with other professional bodies on their professional qualification p r o g r amme s r e c o g n i s i n g t h e changing needs and competency requirement of the industry. The success launch of the full Trust Training Certificate Programme and commencement of the revamp of the Certified Private Wealth Professional Module 1 examination and its new digital learning mode under the reporting period helped set the baseline competency level for the trustee and private wealth management professionals. Regular engagements with regulators in the financial services industry are one of our best services to our members. Apart from our signature roundtable luncheon with Mr Charles Li, Chief Executive of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX) as keynote speaker, we o r gan i sed t he f i r s t r ound t ab l e luncheon with Dr Moses Cheng, Chairman of the Insurance Authority, who shared the mission and priorities of the Insurance Authority in October 2019. Our CPT learning solutions were further expanded to include more timely and relevant topics such as F i n t ech , as se t and wea l t h management, environmental, social and governance (ESG), ethics and latest market updates. Membership and Outreach Membership growth was one of our 2020 strategic priorities and there was no slowing down on our membership and outreach initiatives. With the formation of two Outreach Committees last year to boost individual and corporate members’ propositions, we continue to attract young and new members as well as engage closer with our individual and corporate members. 另外,電腦應考模式系統於 2019 年 10 月更新後,大大提升了考試服務的效 率和成效。考生除可於完卷後即時檢 視結果,更可在試後 2 小時內下載成績 單及表現分析報告,較以往需時 8 個工 作天改善良多。 2019/2020 雖是難關重重的一年,但 學會仍能成功重整工作優次。我們深 信設有系統化風險管理架構和有效內 部監管機制的良好管治體系,有助學 會提供優質服務和持續發展。在報告 期內,我們曾委託外聘顧問檢視資訊 科技及人力資源兩個範疇,並根據其 建議在人才、科技、傳訊和基建方面 作出改善。 業界標準與發展 維持各項資格考試及專業培訓活動的 質素和公信力,對學會至為重要。繼 最近因應監管及業界需要而更新證券 及期貨從業員資格考試 (LE) 溫習手冊 及試題庫,我們亦致力與其他專業團 體合作,確保有關專業資格考試 / 課程 緊貼業界脈搏,足以反映業者能力符 合指定要求。在報告期內,我們成功 推出整套信託培訓課程,並著手大幅 更新註冊私人財富管理師 (CPWP) 單 元一考試的內容及其網上學習模式, 有助確立對信託及私人財富管理業從 業員的基礎能力要求。 學會其中一項難能可貴的會員服務, 是定期安排會員與金融服務業監管機 構要員會面。在報告期內,我們再次 邀請港交所行政總裁李小加先生擔任 圓桌午餐會主題演講嘉賓,更於 2019 年 10 月首次邀得保險業監管局主席鄭 慕智博士擔任午餐會嘉賓,講述保監 局的使命及工作重點。 另外,持續專業培訓課程 (CPT) 涵蓋 的範疇更廣,增加了不少切合時代發 展的專題,如金融科技;資產及財富 管理;環境、社會和企業管治;商業 操守及最新市場資訊。 會員及外展活動 擴大會員基礎是學會 2020 年其中一項 重點工作;因此,年內的會員及外展 活動十分豐富。我們在去年成立了兩 個外展委員會,鼓勵個人及機構會員 提出意見,積極吸引年輕及新會員入 會之餘,亦期望藉此加強與個人及機 構會員的聯繫。
