After a year’s hiatus due t o t he pandemi c , we he l d our signature Autumn Dinner in September 2021 to reconnect, face- to-face, with Members and partners. I t was a memo r ab l e oc cas i on and a much welcome treat, as we came together in celebration of Mr Charles Li’s induction as Honorary Fellow for his distinguished service to the industry and the Institute, as well as recognising our esteemed Members’ remarkable contributions to the Institute through our Senior Fellowship award. We inducted five 2021 Senior Fellows: Mr David Chau, Ms Lau Ka-shi, Mr Bonn Liu, Ms Miranda Tang and Mr Wang Zhongze; and three 2020 Senior Fellows: Mr Oliver Goh, Dr Kent Lai and Mr Barry Tong. All-Round Nurturing Building on the success of our regulatory series talks, we continued to host webinars with the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB), Securities and Futures Commission (SFC), Hong Kong Mo n e t a r y A u t h o r i t y ( HKMA ) , Mandatory Provident Fund Schemes Authority (MPFA), and the Financial Services Development Council (FSDC) to keep practitioners abreast o f i ndus t r y deve l opmen t s and maintain high governance standard. We also expanded our CPT library to help practitioners meet SFC’s enhan c ed CPT r equ i r emen t s , with broadened topics on ESG, virtual assets, asset and wealth management, trust, Fintech/Regtech, and on regulatory and compliance. Short videos were also produced to provide snapshots of the competence requirements and promote take-up of our CPT training courses. We continue to cultivate all-inclusive learning opportunities especially f o r y o u n g p e o p l e . T h e Ca s e Competition, which was rebranded f r om ou r popu l a r Scho l a r sh i p Programme, is a case in point in doing more for the undergraduate students through enriched content and coaching opportunities by the project sponsors. 2022 ESG-themed Case Competition received positive feedbacks from the undergraduates, student offices and corporates alike, on the depth of learning it brings in enhancing students’ knowledge on the ESG subject. 學會最為人稱道的會員服務，首推連 繫會員與業界領袖。因疫情停辦一年 的秋季晚宴於 2021 年 9 月崔護重來， 讓會員和合作夥伴得以聚首一堂，氣 氛熱烈，令人難忘。在眾人見證下， 李小加先生獲授予「榮譽資深會員」頭 銜，以表彰他對業界及學會的卓越貢 獻。另外，為感謝資深會員對學會的 貢獻，亦有多位業界精英在席上獲授 予「傑出資深會員」頭銜，包括 2021 年 的「傑出資深會員」周承炎先生、劉嘉 時女士、廖潤邦先生、鄧嘉儀女士及 王中澤先生，以及 2020 年的「傑出資 深會員」 Oliver Goh 先生、黎雲龍博士 及湯 飈 先生。 培育人才 學會舉辦以監管為主題的網上研討會 向來深受業界歡迎，有見及此，我們 在年內再接再厲，邀請財經事務及庫 務局（財庫局）、證券及期貨事務監察 委員會（證監會）、香港金融管理局（金 管局）、強制性公積金計劃管理局（積 金局）及香港金融發展局（金發局）的 嘉賓擔任主講，協助同業掌握最新資 訊，維持優良管治。 為協助同業達致證監會對在職人士持 續培訓的更高要求，我們擴展 CPT 課 程庫，令涵蓋的議題更為廣泛，例 如環境、社會及管治 (ESG) 、虛擬資 產、資產及財富管理、信託、金融 科技╱監管科技，以及監管與合規事 宜。我們還製作短片，扼要介紹監管 機構對從業員能力要求的規定，促進 同業報讀 CPT 課程。 Amid the shadow of the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed in serving the industry and to deliver the same strong level of service to our stakeholders. 儘管疫情陰霾仍在，我們將繼續致力服務業界，確保服務質素不 變。 Ruth KUNG 孔慶詩 CHIEF EXECUTIVE 行政總裁 03 香港證券及投資學會 二零二二年年報
