60 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2021 SECRETARIAT 秘書處 Go Green Efforts “Go Green” has been the HKSI Institute’s ongoing drive to do our bit in environment protection. We strived to automate our operations to promote a paperless working environment. In September 2020, we engaged a new vendor which would help to reduce our paper usage by approximately 40%, while reducing printing costs by approximately 36%. Additionally, we produced only the electronic version of the 2020 Annual Report, reaffirming our strong Go Green commitment. Examination candidates and training participants can also easily download the study manuals and training materials from the HKSI Institute Online Portal. Separately, we are implementing a new Human Resources Management System. We launched the iLeave Module in the last financial year to replace the leave application forms. Also with the new employees’ Group Medical Insurance Policy, claim process of majority of outpatient claims has been shortened and simplified through the provider’s mobile app. These two initiatives contributed to a reduction in paper usage, as well as the manpower and processing time required-further improving the overall operational efficiency of the HKSI Institute. 保護環境 學會持續採取各項措施,以履行保護 環境的責任,包括致力實現營運自動 化,推動「無紙」的工作環境。 2020 年 9 月,我們聘用了新的承辦商,可望把 用紙量及印刷開支分別減少約 40% 及 36% 。 另外,《 2020 年報》只會提供電子版 本,再次顯示我們對環保的承諾。考 生及學員亦可從學會網站下載學習手 冊及教材,過程方便快捷。 與此同時,我們已在推行嶄新的人力 資源管理系統:繼於上個財政年度以 iLeave 模塊取代傳統的假期申請表 格,根據學會新投保的「團體僱員醫療 保障計劃」,大部分門診個案均可透過 保險公司的手機程式處理,大大縮短 及簡化索賠程序。上述兩項措施不僅 有助減少用紙,亦節省了所需的人力 及時間,進一步提升學會的整體營運 效率。 加強溝通 學會持續致力加強與持份者的聯繫及 提高其品牌吸引力,並已採取相應的 傳訊策略,確保向更廣泛的受眾及時 傳遞清晰和一致的信息。 另 外 , 我 們 亦 在 報 告 期 內 善 用 Facebook 、 LinkedIn 、 Instagram 等 社交媒體,作為發放學會最新資訊的 輔助平台。 員工進修及發展 我們重視並支援員工的發展,持續透 過各類培訓課程,幫助他們獲取所需 知識與技能。除每年的核心訓練課 程,同事亦可免費參加學會舉辦的講 座和培訓活動,並使用「員工進修管理 系統」有效管理自己的進修安排,配合 發展所需。另外,為了讓員工通過行 為學習獲得全面的進修機會,我們也 會安排同事在外間接受跟其職務有關 的培訓。 Enhancing Communication As part of our ongoing commitment t o i n c r ea s e engagemen t w i t h stakeholders and to raise brand attraction, we have stepped up our communication strategy by ensuring that our message is clear, consistent, timely and is able to reach out to a wider audience. During the reporting period, we also optimised our social media channels such as Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram as a supplementary means of sharing Institute’s updates and information. Learning and Development On staff development, we continued to support our team by offering a wide range of training courses to enhance their knowledge and skills. In addition to the annual core training courses, staff members have free access to the seminars and trainings offered by the Institute. Staff can manage their development needs efficiently and systematically through the Staff Learning Management System. We also offered opportunities for employees to attend external, job- related trainings, to provide our peop l e wi t h a l l - r ound l ea r n i ng opportunities through action learning initiatives. 2020 Annual Report is available in electronic format only 《 2020 年報》只提供電子版本
