58 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2021 SECRETARIAT 秘書處 疫症期間，秘書處團隊上下一心，緊 密合作，一邊努力達成學會的業務目 標，一邊服務社群。我們重視同寅的 身心健康及個人發展，員工除了獲發 包含紫外光消毒充電器、智能手環及 消毒手機盒的防疫套裝，更配備手提 電腦及相關配件，讓學會能快速調動 同事以遠程方式工作。在這挑戰重重 的一年，我們仍繼續投資培育人才， 推動高效的基礎建設，支援員工，貢 獻社群。 服務社群 鑑於疫症嚴重衝擊宏觀經濟環境，香 港特別行政區政府（特區政府）設立了 「防疫抗疫基金」，紓緩市民和各行各 業的財政負擔。財經事務及庫務局更 委託學會為該基金轄下「證券業資助 計劃」的執行代理，向中、小型證券 中介機構及證監會持牌人發放資助。 我們在期間合共處理了 30,456 宗個人 及 750 宗機構的資助申請。學會以豐 富項目管理經驗及先進資訊科技為後 盾，因此能迅速配合特區政府施政， 順利向合資格人士及企業發放資助， 我們對此深感欣慰。 2020 年，學會如常參與公益金「便服 日」，透過捐款為弱勢社群帶來希望， 捐款額為 2019 年的三倍。 Our team came together strongly during the COVID-19 pandemic period to drive the Institute’s business objectives while focusing on the community in which we serve. We put our staff’s wellbeing and personal development as one of the top priorities. Care pack in the form of UV steriliser charger box, smart bracelet and mobile phone steriliser storage case was also given to staff. Our staff are equipped with laptop computers and accessories to enable us to quickly mobilise a remote workforce. We continue to invest in our people, implement effective infrastructure, support our staff and contribute to the community during the challenging year. Serving the Community Understanding the adverse impacts of COVID-19 on the macroeconomic environment, the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Government (HKSAR Government) set up the Anti-epidemic Fund (AEF) with an aim to relieve financial burdens of individuals and businesses. The HKSI Institute was appointed by the Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau (FSTB) as the implementation a g e n t o f t h e A E F s u b s i d y scheme for small and medium- sized intermediaries and licensed individuals of the SFC. During the application period, we processed 30,456 individual applications and 750 corporate applications. Drawing on our team’s experience in project managemen t and i n f o rma t i on technology, we are pleased to support HKSAR Government’s effort in disbursing the subsidy to eligible individuals and corporations quickly and seamlessly. In 2020, we continued to participate in The Community Chest’s Dress Casual Day, making donation to bring hope to the less privileged. Our donation was tripled the total amount we made in 2019.
