HKSI Institute AR2021

More Digital Learning Solutions One of our strategic priorities is to build more local eCourses. Our dedicated Digital Learning team had successfully developed and launched eCourses on anti-money laundering (AML), HKEX listing rules, DCASS and ethics related topics during the reporting period by working with subject matter experts. The inaugural eCo u r s e o n Ho n g Ko n g AML requirements is a joint project with The Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment (CISI) which formed part of the CISI AML series. In addition, we were able to deploy both the webinar and eCourse modes of the two professional qualification p r og r ammes – T r u s t T r a i n i ng Certificate (TTC) Programme and Certified Private Wealth Practitioners (CPWP) Module 1 Programme – for the participants to choose. We envisage that there is a high demand on good quality, relevant and timely eCourses and webinars by market practitioners and financial services institutions under the new normal. We continue to explore better learning methods and enhance our ALP to enable our members and market practitioners to learn more effectively at their own pace and time and meet the new SFC’s CPT requirements which will come to effect in January 2022. 24% 。 Overall Enrolments The overall enrolments of public CPT courses under the reporting period dropped by 24% as compared to last year’s face-to-face training courses and seminars. This was mainly due to competition of free webinars available in the market, allowance for all licenced individuals to carry forward any unfulfilled 2020 annual CPT hours to 2021 by the SFC, as well as less demand in the evening classes. On a brighter note, there was an increasing trend of eCourses subscription from 44% to 76% of the public CPT enrolments. We continued to work closely with our corporate training clients to help address their training needs especially under the COVID-19 pandemic where our experienced webinar team successfully deployed over 80 training sessions. We also provided special eCourses package to our corporate members and have dedicated resources to deliver learning consultancy services to identify relevant training solutions. This resulted in an increase of corporate training income from last year’s 16% to this year’s 24%.
