26 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2021 BUSINESS REVIEW 業務回顧 STANDARDS & DEVELOPMENT INITIATIVES 業界標準與發展 Development of Market Professionals With the growing demand for financial talents in Macau, HKSI Institute signed a collaboration agreement with the Macau Institute of Financial Services (MIFS) in January 2021 to offer the LE in Macau. The LE has been recognised as an overseas professional qualification by the “Continuing Education Development Plan 2020-2023” of the Education and Youth Development Bureau of Macau SAR and the “Modern Financial Talents Professional Certification Award Programme 2021” of the Talent Development Committee and the Macau Foundation. The collaboration aims to reinforce the professional standards of financial practitioners in Macau, foster the sustainable development of the city’s financial industry and facilitate the convenience for people in taking the examinations. The inaugural LE sessions in Macau took place in April 2021. I n add i t i on , t wo q ua l i f i c a t i o n examinations, CPWP Module 1 and GSQE, were revised during the reporting period to ensure that they remain relevant and reflect the latest industry development. 培訓市場專才 澳門對金融專才需求日增，學會因此 於 2021 年 1 月與澳門金融學會簽訂協 議，合作於當地舉辦證券及期貨從業 員資格考試。澳門特區政府教育暨 青年局的《持續進修發展計劃 2020- 2023 》，以及人才發展委員會和澳門 基金會的《現代金融人才專業認證獎 勵計劃 2021 》，均認可上述考試為海 外專業資格。 是次合作旨在提升澳門金融業從業員 的專業水平，促進當地金融業的可持 續發展，以及方便當地考生應試。澳 門的首輪資格考試已於 2021 年 4 月完 成。 我們在報告期內亦修訂了 2 項資格考試 – CPWP 單元一及 GSQE – 的內容， 確保配合併反映市場最新發展。 私人財富管理公會 (PWMA) 聯同學會 詳細審視後，修訂了 CPWP 單元一考 試的範圍及學習目標，當中的卷一及 卷二已分別於 2020 年 12 月及 2021 年 2 月推出。 我們設立了隸屬考試委員會的私人財 富管理 (PWM) 專責小組，支援持續 進行的質素檢討工作，並就與 CPWP 有關的事宜提出意見。專責小組由 PWMA 及學會提名的一群高級資深私 人財富管理人員組成，主席譚劍偉先 生為學會考試委員會成員。 另 外 ， 我 們 亦 與 金 銀 業 貿 易 場 (CGSE) 合作，於 2020 年第 4 季起全面 更新 GSQE 的考試範圍及溫習手冊。 經修訂的溫習手冊和考試，預計可於 2021 年第 3 季推出。 The Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) and the HKSI Institute performed a detailed review and revised the syllabus and learning outcomes of the CPWP Module 1 Examination, of which its Paper 1 was successfully launched in December 2020 and Paper 2 was launched in February 2021. Private Wealth Management (PWM) Taskforce was also formed under the ambit of the Examinations Committee to support the ongoing quality review procedures and to advise on CPWP related matters. The taskforce, chaired by Mr Joseph Tam our Examinations Committee Member, consists of a group of senior and experienced PWM practitioners nominated by PWMA and HKSI Institute. Separately, we also worked with the Chinese Gold & Silver Exchange So c i e t y ( CGSE ) t o c ondu c t a comp r ehens i ve upda t e t o t he syllabus and study manual of the GSQE since the fourth quarter of 2020, and the revised study manual and examination are expected to be rolled out in the third quarter of 2021.
