How well do you know the HKSI Institute?

In conjunction with the HKSI Institute's 20th Anniversary, we are running a Quiz Contest to check out your familiarity and understanding of the HKSI Institute's work, initiatives and background. The Quiz Contest will run on a monthly basis commencing from July to November 2017.

A monthly prize winner will be drawn from the list of the highest scorers of each month. A grand prize winner will be drawn from the list of the highest scorers of the 5 monthly quizzes.

Eligibility:

• The contest is open to all HKSI Institute individual members and staff of HKSI Institute corporate members. Staff of the HKSI Institute are not eligible.

Terms and Conditions:

1. Each month's quiz contest consists of four quiz questions. Submission deadline of each monthly quiz edition is on the last day of each month.
2. Participants have to fulfill the following, to be in the running for the prizes:
    a) hold valid HKSI Institute membership at the time of prize award; and
    b) provide correct personal information for each submission of quiz.
3. If a participant submitted more than one entry per month, the first entry with full and correct personal information will be accepted and the rest will be disqualified.
4. The Monthly Prize winner will be drawn, notified by email and his/her name/membership number will be posted on the HKSI website by mid of the following month.
5. The Grand Prize Winner will be drawn, notified by email and telephone and his/her name/membership number will be posted on the HKSI website on or before 8 December 2017, and the prize will be awarded to the winner at the Annual General Meeting on 14 December 2017 at the HKSI Institute.
6. Winner must show proof of identity upon prize collection at the HKSI Institute.
7. The participant will be deemed to have withdrawn from the prize if he/she does not show up at the HKSI Institute on or before the designated date of award.
8. The HKSI Institute will not be liable to any participant who fails to submit his/her personal information for the Quiz Contest including but not limited to as a result of any technical problems or other reasons rendering unsuccessful connection to the Quiz Contest. The date and time appearing in the HKSI Institute record will be final and conclusive as to the date on which the submission was carried out.
9. The HKSI Institute shall not be liable to participants for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential or exemplary damages, including but not limited to damages for loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, resulting from his/her participation in the Quiz Contest.
10. The HKSI Institute will collect the personal data of participants and will use it for the following purposes: a) administering the Quiz Contest, b) posting of winners??name or membership number on the HKSI Institute website, and c) contacting winners for the prize award matters. The HKSI Institute will keep the personal information of participants confidential and all data will be deleted on or before 21 December 2017.
11. In the event of any dispute arising from the Quiz Contest, the decision of the HKSI Institute shall be final and conclusive.
12. The HKSI Institute reserves the right to change the terms and conditions at any time without prior notice and the Quiz Contest may be withdrawn or terminated by the HKSI Institute at its discretion without prior notice. The HKSI Institute accepts no liability for any such change, withdrawal and/or termination.
