PWMA Wealth Management Summit 2019

The Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) will be holding the 4th Wealth Management Summit on 8th October 2019 (Tuesday). As part of PWMA’s initiatives to drive the continuous development of the industry, the Wealth Management Summit will continue to bring together senior executives, thought leaders, government officials and regulators, with the mission to create a platform for practitioners to connect, exchange ideas and to explore new opportunities.

With the theme “Shaping the Future”, this year's summit will look at the major trends that will shape the industry for years to come, and we are delighted to have The Honourable Paul Chan Mo-po, GBM, GBS, MH, JP as our opening keynote speaker.

Geographically, the announcement of the Greater Bay Area plan helps to expand Hong Kong’s coverage and provide new growth potentials as the GBA will undoubtedly attract many news businesses, talents and new wealth to the region. In addition to bringing improvement in operational efficiency, the continuous advancement of Fintech and digital transformation also rapidly change the way banking services are delivered, the granting of virtual banking licenses early this year is one of the examples. Hence the industry needs to explore ways to effectively combine digital technology and human touch to bring the best experiences to clients. These are some of the key developments and, through thought-provoking discussions and presentations, the speakers will discuss the emerging opportunities and chart a path for the private wealth management industry’s growth.

The summit is an opportunity to exchange ideas, discover trends and network with peers across the private wealth management industry. The event will continue to feature an exhibition zone which allows delegates to check out new products and services offerings as well as the latest technological solutions. This year’s event is expected to attract over 700 industry professionals to attend and we look forward to seeing you there.
