Information Technology Officer (Ref: ITO/HKSI/052018)

Job Description:

  • Provide technical/help desk support and troubleshooting on both hardware, system and software
  • Perform basic server administration, routine maintenance work for IT equipment, technical support and updates website
  • Assist in regular testing of IT equipment and application
  • Assist in liaising with vendors on hardware and software acquisition, installation and maintenance
  • Assist in projects as assigned
  • Perform any other computer-related and administrative duties as assigned
  • Work rotating shift 8:15am – 5:15pm or 10:45am – 19:45pm, Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday
  • Immediate availability is preferred

Qualification Requirement and Work Experience:

  • High Diploma or above in IT related disciplines
  • At least 2 years of working experience in IT support
  • Solid experience in PC LAN support, PC troubleshooting, end user support and audio-visual equipment
  • Experience in basic programming (e.g. PHP, HTML) would be an advantage
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills

Manager, Education & Development (Ref: M/EDD/HKSI/042018)

Job Description:

Reporting to the Director of the Education & Development Department (EDD), you will be an integral part of a team that provides Continuing Professional Training/Development (CPT/CPD) programmes and learning consultancy services to our clients.  You will be responsible for and/or assisting the EDD Director in the following key areas:

  • Working closely with other training managers and key stakeholders to identify, formulate and execute training plan and programmes
  • Working closely with trainers and subject matters experts on design, development and deployment of learning solutions
  • Providing learning consultancy services to clients to help them identify the learning needs, design appropriate learning solutions and evaluate the effectiveness of the learning solutions
  • Preparing regular and special reports and conducting detailed analysis including business plans, budgets, proposals, research and evaluation reports
  • Leading ad hoc projects as assigned by senior management

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge Required:

  • Experience in identifying training needs, delivering, managing and evaluating training programmes as well as providing instructional design of various types of learning solutions (e.g. classroom, elearn and/or blended learning solutions)
  • Strong communication, influencing, coaching and facilitation skills
  • Familiar with the financial services and securities related regulatory requirements
  • Fluent in verbal and written English and Chinese (Cantonese and Putonghua)
  • Understanding of the Chinese business practices, etiquette and custom
  • Ability to develop rapport and trust with clients
  • Attention to details and project management ability, able to multi-task
  • Ability to work collaboratively, taking a leading role where required and supporting where appropriate
  • Familiar with quality assurance as well as accreditation processes and requirements
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Qualification Requirement and Work Experience:

  • At least Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Training & Development, Human Resources, or related relevant disciplines such as Business Administrative.
  • Professional qualification in learning and development will be an advantage
  • At least Five (5) years of experience in Learning & Development, Human Capital, Organisational Development, learning consultancy business or relevant experiences, preferably in the financial services industry
  • At least Two (2) years of managerial experience in Learning & Development
  • Have track record of client consultancy services, dealing with companies in the Mainland China, experience in financial services industry will be an advantage

Corporate Communications Manager (Ref: CCM/CEO/HKSI/022017)

Job Description:

  • Report to CE office
  • Develop overall promotion and marketing strategy and plan using various media platforms to meet business objectives and to enhance stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Coordinate with business units and external parties to create and deliver marketing and promotional materials, both print and electronic, such as press releases, media relations content, executive bios, corporate newsletter content, social media content, speeches, annual report, in-house publications and articles, speeches, periodic and thematic promotion campaigns to reach out to, and engage with, the professional community and targeted audience
  • Copyedit, proofread, and revise communications; perform quality control on all communications, advertising and literature to ensure they comply with the regulatory requirement
  • Lead and coordinate website content development to ensure all information is up-to-date, comprehensive, well presented and comply with the brand guidelines
  • Handle media enquiries and organise events including media interview, press conference; research media coverage and industry trends
  • Handle enquiries from social media and perform analysis on stakeholder usage and engagement
  • Provide coaching to staff of other business units

Skills, Abilities and Knowledge Required:

  • Must be a confident communicator and presenter
  • Strong writing, editing, proofreading, typographical, layout and design, professional printing/publishing skills are essential, including ability to present concepts verbally
  • Good command of English and Chinese languages
  • Proved strong organisational, planning and problem solving skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
  • A wide degree of creativity and latitude
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media and able to use digital marketing tools
  • Independent, responsible and self-motivated individual with a positive and professional approach to management and work effectively with other team members

Qualification Requirement and Work Experience:

  • Possess a recognised university degree or equivalent in languages, marketing, journalism, communications or related disciplines
  • At least Eight (8) years of experience in marketing, prior experience as an editor or journalist is preferred
  • At least Two (2) years in managerial role in corporate communications
  • Proven record of creation and production of brochures, direct mailers, leaflets, promotional videos, photographs and multi-media and multi-channel marketing campaigns
  • Have track record of website development and management as well as mobile application development will be an advantage
