Extraordinary General Meeting In April 2024, an Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) was conducted to approve key amendments to the HKSI Inst i tute’s Art icles of Association (AA), including alignment with the latest Companies Ordinance to enable ful ly virtual and hybrid general meet ings, streamlined the Board Director nomination process, and empowering the Board to appoint directors to address any expertise gaps. 2025 Board Appointment At the HKSI Institute’s 27th Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 18 December 2024, Mr Steven Chiu, Mr Jason Ho and Mr Michael Footman were elected to the Board, while Mr Robert Lui, Mr Barry Tong and Dr Wang Zhongze were re-elected. All will serve a three-year term. Mr Eric Ho, Mr Jeremy Lam and Dr Gordon Tsui were reappointed by the SFC as Board Directors of the HKSI Institute for a one-year term.
