Our continuous professional training (CPT) solutions address the latest developments and emerging trends in six key focus areas for 2023/2024: • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) • Virtual assets • Fintech/Regtech • Asset management • Wealth management (including family office), and • Regulatory, compliance and ethics Through collaborations with regulators, professional bodies, and industry experts, we delivered over 2,200 programmes across various formats – webinars, in-person, and digital, which attracted more than 11,800 participants. Our training programmes equipped learners with the necessary knowledge and skills to excel, while fostering a strong culture of regulatory compliance and industry best practices. In March 2023, the Pilot Programme to Enhance Talent Training for the Asset and Wealth Management Sector (WAM Pilot Programme) was extended for a third three-year term, continuing through 2026, with increased financial support and expanded eligibility criteria. We made a conscious effort to expand our CPT library, with over 40% of our public CPT courses becoming WAM-eligible, empowering more individuals to enhance their knowledge and benefit from the government-funded incentive scheme in the asset and wealth management sector. Continuing our focus on delivering high-quality and relevant training, we partnered with key professional bodies to deliver compelling webinars. Highl ights included sessions with the Accounting and Financial Reporting Council and Financial Dispute Resolution Centre on corporate governance and compliance obligations. Additionally, our ethics seminar with CFA Society Hong Kong, presented by Independent Commission Against Corruption, attracted over 400 participants, underscoring the need for ongoing education and training in professional ethics. We also partnered with Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA) on a webinar for Sophisticated Professional Investors (SPIs) in relation to suitability assessment. This was followed by our collaboration with Hong Kong Trustees’ Association (HKTA) to revamp the Trust Training Certificate (TTC) programme. The TTC revamp aligns with the new regulatory regime for depositaries of SFC authorised collective investment schemes (RA 13). To support practitioners during the transition to the new RA 13 regime, we developed a five-hour eCourse for grandfathering training, launched in March 2024. To further enhance our training offerings, we engaged new trainers to bring fresh perspectives and expertise to our programmes. We also revitalised our in-demand courses, such as Financial Resources Rules (FRR), to provide interactive and hands-on learning experience that improve engagement and skills development. Overall, during the reporting period, participants provided positive feedback on our courses, with an average rating of 4.4 out of 5.0.
