We are well-placed to capture future growth opportunities and help shape the long-term sustainable and successful future of our markets.” 「在 2023-2026 年既定策略下，學會力求精益求精，更有效地為 香港金融業各界別提供增值服務，鞏固我們作為頂尖考試和培訓 機構的領導地位。同時，學會致力為會員提供有效的支持，加深 與會員之間的互動。學會已充份把握未來的增長機遇，並致力 推動香港金融市場邁向可持續和成功的長期發展。」 While Hong Kong’s economy has shown signs of recovery entering 2023 after a three-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the external environment remained full of challenges and uncertainties. In this challenging economic environment, characterised by cautious market sentiment, rising operating costs and geopol itical tensions, we continued to demonstrate resilience and strength despite our financial performance for 2023/2024 falling short of expectations. With our more focused 2023-2026 strategy set in January 2023, we have accelerated our efforts to enhance member engagement and introduced new approaches for our events and initiatives to reinforce our relevance and leadership at the heart of the Hong Kong financial community. Enhancing Membership Engagement and Value Proposition Our anchor member events, the scaled-up Chairman’s Cocktail and Autumn Dinner, facilitated deeper relationships and collaboration, as we rekindled connections and fostered meaningful interactions among our diverse membership. We also organised a series of themed networking drinks for members and like-minded professionals throughout the year, enhancing our engagement efforts and strengthening our community. 香港經濟經歷了三年的疫情停滯後於 2023 年出 現復甦的跡象，但外圍環境仍具挑戰和不確定 性。在嚴竣的經濟環境下，市場氣氛轉趨審慎、 營運成本上升以及地緣政治緊張局勢的影響，儘 管我們在 2023/2024 年度的財務表現未如理想， 我們仍持續展現出強大的韌性與實力。隨著我 們於 2023 年 1 月制定更具針對性的 2023-2026 策 略，我們加快了提升會員參與度的步伐，並為活 動和項目制定嶄新的方法，進一步鞏固我們在香 港金融服務業的影響力及領導地位。 加強會員參與和價值定位 本年度的會員盛會，包括主席酒會及秋季晚宴 規模更為龐大，吸引了更多來自不同界別的會 員聚首一堂，激發會員間深厚的連繫與合作。 此外，我們積極籌辦一系列主題交流酒會，供 會員及其他志同道合的專業人士參與，進一步 鞏固我們與會員社群間的聯繫。 Colin Shaftesley 石鈞年 Chairperson 主席
