SECRETARIAT In addition to providing staff with suitable hardware, furniture, and equipment, we have taken measures to prevent unnecessary injury in office. This also includes organising a fitness exercise workshop with the support of Occupational Safety and Health Council to promote a healthy and safe workplace. With a growing demand for work-life-balance, several new policies and practices were introduced to benefit employees as well as attract potential talents during the year under review. In July 2022, we initiated a pilot run of the hybrid work arrangement, which was later officially implemented in January 2023. This arrangement permits eligible staff to work from home one day per week. Additionally, in October 2022, we launched the work-from- home arrangement for new parents, to provide increased flexibility to new moms and dads in managing their work responsibilities alongside caring for their newborns. STAFF LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT Staff are highly encouraged to attend trainings and conferences to further develop their expertise and enhance skill sets that are relevant to their job, roles, and responsibilities. They are given free access to professional courses offered by the Institute to enrich their industry knowledge and participate in external seminars and workshops, covered by the Institute, enabling them to achieve their full potential.
