EXPANDINGOUR NETWORK ANDOUTREACH BUSINESS REVIEW Mr Malcolm Mui, our Individual Membership Committee Member and Head of Pan-Asia Debt Syndication & Head of Asia Syndicated Finance Department at Mizuho, shared his career journey and experience with students of Lingnan University’s MIBF MSc. in International Banking & Finance Programme. Mr Raymond Chan, Corporate Membership Committee Member and Chief Executive Officer and Executive Director of Metaverse Securities, discussed digitalisation, post-pandemic innovations, and the latest developments in Metaverse and NFT business applications with students from The University of Hong Kong (HKU) and Peking University. Professor Dragon Tang, Area Head in Finance at HKU Business School led a Member-only CPT seminar discussing ESG trends and global risks with attendees. Mr Dickson Chan, our Board Director and Managing Director & Head of Corporate Finance Execution at CLSA Limited, provided insights on career development in the financial services industry during a career talk with students of the HKU Business School. He emphasised the significance of internships and building a strong professional network. Mr Howard Chan, Associate Director of eBusiness Division at Chief Group, our Corporate Member, shared his career progression with students from The Hong Kong Polytechnic University’s School of Accounting and Finance, highlighting the importance of continuous learning and networking. Mr Lewis Wan, then China Committee Member and Founder of HKFAEx Group and Visiting Professor at Beijing University of International Business & Economics, spoke about realising dreams and the importance of staying informed on global developments with Hong Kong University of Science and Technology’s MSc Finance students. OUTREACH INITIATIVES Additionally, our outreach initiatives actively inspire the next generation of finance professionals and create a supportive and interconnected community. Through our collaborations with educational institutions, we directly contribute to fostering professional growth and development within the industry.
