EMPOWERING PROFESSIONAL ADVANCEMENT BUSINESS REVIEW First Hybrid Event Connecting Hong Kong, Shenzhen and Shanghai On 7 September 2022, Mr Nicolas Aguzin, Chief Executive Officer of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited, made his debut as a HKSI Institute speaker at our first hybrid event - which include a formal luncheon held in Hong Kong. The event was attended by over 300 participants both in-person and online. Mr Aguzin highlighted his perspective on the Hong Kong market, underscoring the vast opportunities in the Greater Bay Area and Hong Kong’s vibrancy and attractiveness as a capital raising hub. Through this event, we successfully expanded our reach to Shenzhen and Shanghai, broadcasting directly to these markets to strengthen relationships, foster collaboration, and open up growth opportunities. We also established close collaborations with corporations to ensure that they are well-informed of relevant public courses and have easy access to the customised training arrangement that fit their specific needs. Joint Seminars with PWMA Building on our strong partnership with the Private Wealth Management Association (PWMA), we have strategically expanded our collaboration through joint seminars. During the reporting period, two seminars “Virtual Banking Landscape and Recent Development” and “Hong Kong’s Virtual Assets Licensing Regime - The Next Steps” were delivered and received overwhelming enrolments. These initiatives have amplified our training capabilities and offerings in the field of private wealth management and deepen our shared commitment with PWMA towards fostering excellence in the industry.
