BUSINESS REVIEW 業務回顧 SUPPORTINGMEMBERS & CREATING VALUE 服務會員 創造價值 Participating Employers (PEs) expanding their internship pool to our students and the number of interns hired by the PEs was the highest since the programme’s inception. That was a great encouragement to our work in building a strong talent pipeline for the sector. The enhancement of the SIP online application portal in December 2020 and other application processes throughout the year has enabled a seamless user experience for both the PEs and students. Intern recruitment for SIP 2022 started in March 2022. Online briefing sessions enabled us to reach out to a wide group of students to enhance their understanding of the SIP, and the recordings were also shared with all registered students and uploaded t o t he WAM P i l o t P r og r amme website to encourage applications. In addition, we participated in career fairs hosted by four HEIs to further promote the WAM sector. S e p a r a t e l y , w e also promoted the u n d e r s t a n d i n g o f t he a s s e t and wealth management industry to students via four webinars u n d e r t h e “WAM C h a n n e l ” – o n e which was organised by us and three were o r gan i sed by t he Financial Services Development Council (FSDC). Grooming Young Talent Nurturing young people is one of our top priorities. In addition to enjoying 50% discounts on our selected LE papers, Student Members can enjoy up to 75% discounts to enrol in our professional development programmes. During the reporting period, we have carried out a number of initiatives for the young people. Summer Internship Programme (SIP) Under the HKSAR Government- funded WAM Pilot Programme, the SIP has provided undergraduates with work opportunities to gain early exposure to the different functional roles in the asset and wealth management sector. Despite the continuing pandemic situation in 2021, we are pleased to have 培育後進 為業界培育新血,是學會其中一項首 要工作。學生會員除可以半價報考資 格考試的指定考卷外;報讀我們的專 業發展課程時,更享有高達 75% 學費 折扣優惠。 報告期內,我們有多項特別為年輕人 舉辦的活動。 暑期實習計劃 「暑期實習計劃」 (SIP) 屬於特區政府資 助之「資產財富管理業先導計劃」的其 中一個項目,旨在給予大學生工作機 會,讓年輕人提早體驗資產及財富管 理業不同職能的運作實況。儘管疫情 在 2021 年仍揮之不去,但參與僱主所 提供的職位空缺持續增加,獲聘實習 生總數為計劃推行以來最多。學會一 向致力為業界培育新血,獲得如此佳 績,毋疑是對我們的極大鼓勵。 除於 2020 年 12 月提升 SIP 申請網站的 功能,我們在年內亦持續改善其他申 請程序,務求讓參與計劃的僱主和同 學能有更佳的用戶體驗。 2022 年度「暑期實習計劃」招募實習生 的工作於本年 3 月展開。為了讓廣大的 學生能認識及參與是次計劃,我們舉 辦了多場網上簡介會,及將錄影片段 與所有已登記的學生分享,並上載至 「資產財富管理業先導計劃」網站,藉 此鼓勵更多學生申請。同時,我們亦 參加了由四所專上院校主辦的職業博 覽,加強宣傳資產及財富管理業。 此外,為增進同學對此行業的認識, 學會及香港金融發展局分別主辦了 1 場 及 3 場網上研討會,並透過「資產財富 管理業先導計劃」的「 WAM 頻道」宣傳 上述活動。 Promotion of SIP2022 via the Institute’s social media platforms include the recruitment of PEs and undergraduates 透過學會的社交平台宣傳 2022 年「暑期實習計劃」,招募僱主及大學生參與。 University outreach at career fair 參與大學舉辦的職業博覽 48 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2022
