MESSAGE FROM THE CHIEF EXECUTIVE 行政總裁的話 06 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2019 Ruth KUNG 孔慶詩 The l aunch o f t he Ad vanced Learning Platform in September 2017 was a significant milestone o f ou r d i g i t a l t r ans f o rma t i on initiative which helped drive the business growth and expand our service offerings in 2018/2019. This resulted in a healthy financial position, improved efficiency and enhanced user experience. Business Review HKSI Institute enjoyed another busy and successful year with more services offered to our members and participants. Our 2018/2019 financial performance was better t han l as t f i nanc i a l yea r . The Consolidated Statement of Profit or Loss and Other Comprehensive Income for the 2018/2019 period recorded a surplus of HK$5.4 million, compared with a surplus of HK$3.1 million in the previous financial year. Total revenue for the year grew by 8% primarily due to higher enrolment for examinations, while total expenditure increased by 4% on a year-on-year basis. 於 2017 年 9 月啟用的先進學習平 台，是學會全面數碼化的重要里程 碑，有助我們在 2018/2019 年度 推動會務和增強服務，達致財政穩 健、提升效率，並為使用者提供更 佳體驗的效果。 業務回顧 學會過去一年的工作非常充實，為 會員及參加者提供的服務與日俱 增，成績斐然，財務表現亦較對上 財政年度為佳。 2018/2019 年度綜合 損益及其他全面收益表錄得的盈餘 為 540 萬港元，超越之前一年的 310 萬港元。由於考試報考人次增加， 全年總收入增長 8% ；總開支則較去 年同期上升 4% 。
