At the HKSI Institute, we are committed to supporting and empowering the next generation in fulfilling their potential and below are some highlights of our talent grooming initiatives. Mentoring Programme The Members’ only programme connects young members with our seasoned practitioners. Mentees who are 35 years old or below are matched with a suitable mentor a c c o r d i ng t o t he i r i n t e r e s t s , specialities and experience. I n a d d i t i o n t o t h e p e r s o n a l communication between the mentor and mentee, the HKSI Institute initiated mentee gatherings and sharing sessions for them to hear directly from mentors on how to get the most from the mentoring p r og r amme , s u c h a s ge t t i ng guidance and new perspectives on career goals and corporate knowledge. Under the leadership of Programme Chair, Mr Barry Tong, a total of 103 men t ees and 40 men t o r s participated in the 2018/19 cohort, marking a remarkable increase from last cohort of 87 mentees and 33 mentors. Recognition awards were presented to mentees to recognise their active participation and self-development initiatives throughout the mentoring programme.
