MEMBER ENGAGEMENTS & OUTREACH INITIATIVES 會員參與及外展活動 BUS I NESS REV I EW 業務回顧 60 Hong Kong Securities and Investment Institute Annual Report 2019 Following the great response to the programme, two additional sessions were organised and hosted respectively by Mrs Christine Ip, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer Greater China o f Un i t ed Ov e r s ea s Ban k i ng Limited, our Corporate Member and Professor KC Chan, Honorary Fellow of the HKSI Institute. Tuesday Drinks We enjoyed great turnouts at these regular casual get-togethers of members and their friends and co l l eagues . Ou r membe r sh i p community is about people and relationship, and the drinks events are wonderful avenue to meet and link up. A total of 9 drinks events were organised. In August 2018, a thematic drinks session was hosted by Mr Paul Day, Board Director and then Outreach Committee Chairman at an exclusive venue, ma k i n g i t y e t a n o t h e r me r r y gathering for members and friends. Special Reception In appreciation of Mr Carlson Tong for his invaluable support of our work during his SFC Chairmanship, an Autumn Drinks party was held in October 2018 in his honour. HKSI Institute senior leaders and co r po r a t e membe r s a t t ended the reception and paid tribute to Mr Tong in recognition of his instrumental role in improving the quality of the market. 由於首次活動反應熱烈，我們其後 再舉辦兩場聚會，分別邀請機構會 員大華銀行董事總經理兼大中華區 行政總裁葉楊詩明女士及榮譽資深 會員陳家強教授擔任主持。 樂聚星期二 這項定期舉辦的聯誼活動參加者 眾，除會員外，亦歡迎他們帶同 友人和同事出席。我們的會員社群 以人為本，重視加強人與人之間的 聯繫，杯酒言歡之際，正是輕鬆聊 天、增進情誼的上佳機會。在 2018 年，我們舉行了 9 次聚會。在 8 月， 學會董事兼時任外展委員會主席 Paul Day 先生主持了一次專題酒 會，出席的會員及友人無不盡興而 歸。 特別酒會 為感謝唐家成先生在擔任證監會主 席期間對學會的支持，我們於 2018 年 10 月特別為其安排了秋季酒會， 學會資深領袖及機構會員的代表均 撥冗出席，向唐先生致敬，表揚他 在提升市場質素方面擔當的主導角 色。 YPC Members at the inaugural “Meet Our Leaders” series hosted by Mr Stephen Hui, Senior Fellow of the HKSI Institute. 新銳會會員參加首次「與領袖同 行」系列活動，向學會傑出資深 會員許照中先生討教。
