03 香港證券及投資學會 二零一九年年報 Strategic Priorities Our 2020 strategic goals are to grow the membership base, develop the best team, adopt good infrastructure a n d p r o c e s s e s , a n d t o b e a sustainable organisation. We made great strides towards our goals by creating better membership value proposition, proactively reaching out to different target groups through promotion and marketing efforts, and establishing new professional qualification programmes. We also sought improvement by adopting industry best practices in relation to internal policies and governance framework, infrastructure and system, and raised the quality of our examination and training offerings. At the HKSI Institute, our work i s mo r e t han o f f e r i ng ca r ee r - enhan c i ng qua l i f i c a t i on s f o r members of the financial industry and helping them develop their career. We also provide members and participants with exceptional and meaningful engagements and experiences that fuel their purpose and passion. People First In response to a member survey conducted in October 2018, we have bolstered our membership value propositions by increasing the number of free continuous p r o f e s s i o n a l t r a i n i n g ( CPT ) eCourses for individual members f r om 3 CPT h o u r s t o 5 CPT hours and offered concessions to our student members to attend s e l e c t e d C P T c o u r s e s a n d examinations. Looking ahead, we plan to organise more member- e x c l u s i v e p r o g r amme s a n d create engagement opportunities f o r membe r s t o v o l un t ee r i n accordance with their interests. This will further encourage our members to interact with the HKSI Institute directly and enjoy the enriching experience. Engagements with our stakeholders is of paramount importance to our understanding of the development of the industry. We participated in various small and large group activities ranging from dialogues w i t h d e c i s i o n - m a k e r s a n d regulators, contribution to steering committees of landmark industry i n i t i a t i ves , co l l abo r a t i on wi t h industry associations, and working with corporates and the academia to provide mentoring and scholarship opportunities for students in Hong Kong. Members can expect these efforts to strengthen in the coming years with the goal of building stronger community involvement and promoting the cause of the HKSI Institute. Cognisant of the interplay between digital advancement, expectation shifts and workforce capability, we will also continue our efforts to upskill our people in order to provide efficient and effective services to the financial community and provide career advancement opportunities for those who are dedicated to serve HKSI Institute. 重點策略 學會的 2020 年策略性目標是擴大 會員基礎,培育優秀團隊,建立良 好基建及程序,並成為可持續發 展的機構。透過提升學會會籍的份 量,主動向不同目標群組開展宣傳 和推廣工作,以及增添新的專業資 格課程,我們已取得重大進展,逐 步向目標邁進。另外,我們亦精益 求精,按業界最佳標準改進內部政 策、管理架構及基建系統,並提升 各項考試及培訓活動的質素。 學會的工作並不止於為金融服務業 從業員舉辦各類資格考試及協助他 們發展事業,而是聯繫會員及參加 者,讓他們獲得與別不同、意義重 大的親身體驗,燃點熱情,實現夢 想。 以人為本 因應 2018 年 10 月的會員意見調查結 果,我們把個人會員可以免費修讀 的網上持續專業培訓 (CPT) 課程時數 從 3 小時增至 5 小時,同時為報讀指 定持續專業培訓課程及考試的學生 會員提供學費及考試費優惠,以提 升學會會籍的吸引力。展望未來, 我們除了加強會員專享活動,亦會 增闢讓他們按照個人意願義務參與 學會工作的機會,促進彼此的直接 聯繫,使會員有更佳體驗。 與持份者同行,對學會了解業內發 展至關重要。因此,我們持續參與 各式對外活動,如與決策者及監管 機構對話,參與大型業界活動的督 導委員會,與業界組織合作,以及 夥拍企業和學術界,為香港學生提 供獎學金和學習機會。未來幾年, 會員可預期我們加強這方面的工 作,更積極投入專業社群及推廣學 會理念。 數碼科技發展、期望轉變與職員能 力,三者可謂互為因果。因此,我 們將繼續提升職員的能力,為金融 同業提供效率與效益兼備的服務, 並為有志服務學會的同事提供發展 事業的機會。
